Some recently-completed portraits of beloved fur babies! I begin with a fat quarter-sized background…use mostly batiks but add in some unusual fabrics for contrast (see the hand-dyed velvet “bed” for the blue-eyed kitty)…rely on my beloved MistyFuse, miles of Aurifil thread and paint markers.
