Smokey

The most meaningful pieces I create are those in memory of beloved pets. Smokey was a member of the Windham Fabrics team, and (if his expression gives us any clue ;)), a most discerning fabric expert.

…and lots of stitching later. Many shades of grey (the more you use, the more lifelike the effect)…pebble stitch (lots)…whiskers in 12wt thread.

A frequent teacher at IQF's Open Studios and The City Quilter in NYC, she has been published in Quilting Arts magazine and The Canadian Quilter.
